New England Supreme Athletics Inc. - Stratford Winter Travel basketball teams are open to 4th through 8th grade boys and girls who reside in or attend school in the Stratford area. The travel basketball season will run from November through mid-February.
There will be two highly competitive mandatory 75-90 minute practices per week (excluding holiday breaks). All teams typically will play in one or two games per weekend.
All travel teams will compete in the Milford Knights Basketball League (MKBL). All local games will be played at these locations: Parsons Gym, Jonathan Law High School, Foran High School and Lauralton Hall in Milford - InSports in Trumbull - Bunnell High School. *(Note: Some teams might add a few non-league games to their schedule to compete against other top teams in the state).
TENTATIVE DATES: September: Fall Pre-Season Basketball Runs & Workouts (Mondays, September 14th, 21st 28th and October 5th )
October: Tryouts and team selections (Wednesday, October 7th and Monday, October 12th)
November: Team practices and conditioning
December-January: Regular season games and practices
February: Playoffs and championship games in mid-February
